Do you remember having the “sex talk” with your kids? (Or do you remember when your mom or dad sat you down for it?) Uncomfortable, right? As parents, we’d rather not talk about sex, and we’d sure rather our kids didn’t learn about it until they are much older (about 30?).
But why is it so critically important for parents to talk about sex to their children? It’s because many of our public schools, starting in kindergarten, are teaching our children non-biblical sexual ideas. They are being taught things God explicitly forbids (See Leviticus 18:1-31).
On television this month we will be starting a new series entitled “Teaching Your Kids About God’s Plan for Sexuality,” based on the book Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality.
The greatest thing we can do for our children and grandchildren is to pray for them. Here you will find a free prayer guide to help you know how, regardless of their stages of life. She openly testifies to the sweet time she spends with God in prayer over her family each day! Pray consistently and trust God to do His transforming work in them.
